Sean Combs Arrest and The Hip Hop Community

The state of hip hop has been in question for a very long time. The behaviors that have been exhibited in various spaces; the requirements that have been placed on various artist within the industry, what happens behind specific doors within parties for the growth of one's career. The adversities that many had stated they faced within their time in that industry reflects a working environment that is volatile and cut throat. Growing up in the Hip Hop industry has its pros and cons as it does anywhere else in life. The pieces that are shared with the public if it is not by someone that has been within the crowds it is minuscule and trivial compared to the complexity of the industry itself. As more information make it to the frontline the elephant in the room becomes harder to ignore or turn a blind eye to.

In the state of Hip Hop over the years there have been many artist that have came and gone in various ways. There are also many who are still around or within close proximity, after all that time have passed it is safe to say that the celebration of Hip Hop's 50 years of being a music genre brought fourth a celebration; this celebration brought fourth some prominent names that has been around for a large amount of the celebration. It also brought fourth conversation of whom may have been missing from the celebration and why. In the reality of it all there was still an event that took place in this celebration and a large amount of artist that was celebrated and has had a extensive career in Hip Hop showed up and they showed out performing their hit songs. The ones who careers were seemingly short they had a moment of celebration as well. 

 

The feud amongst fellow artist within the industry has not stopped and the state of the music; the reality of the industry and where it is heading in this current space is up for debate; based on the generation you speak with about the music and the lyrical verses that many may or may not want to hear it brings the quest of where is this Genre headed and who is going to assist with steering the ship, with so much happening what looks like a large portion of artist disappearing from the business whether it is through behaviors they exhibit amongst other artist or their lack of concern for their health, Hip Hop is battling for their stance within the music genres currently. 

The biggest issue that is causing a catastrophic chain of events it is the "fall" of Sean P Diddy combs and the charges within his case that brought fourth his arrest. Arrested September 16th 2024 in New York city; currently being held at the MDC jail in Brooklyn without bail. Sean is looking at a very turbulent road ahead of him. His charges were listed in as:  Racketeering conspiracy that engaged in Sex Trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution - this speaks to the bulk of the charges that he seems to be facing. Some of the other charges are forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice. His case carries similar charges as Epstein and revolves around the same line of activities that Epstein was charged for during his case. In the grand scale of Epstein case many are still being charged and linked to his lifestyle currently, some of his former associates such as Ghislaine Maxwell and Harvey Weinstein the recent suspects that were linked within the Epstein case; there are many that still remain to be charged within that case following his death in jail, which was linked to suicide. 

Taking into account the current situation with Sean Combs Also Known As Puff Daddy, P Diddy and many other names, he is the new person that is being charged as the head of an organized criminal empire. He was also seen and linked to parties that happened on Epstein's Island when he was alive, the issue that continues to rain within various spaces is the war on crime and criminal organizations. When you review the history of many of these celebrities they are largely link to one another through various parties and spaces that they intermingle and enjoy each others company. It is not the parties and intermingling seems to be the issue, however it is what happens after the originally party that took place, what could have been happening and what may have taken place while the party created the distraction for a grander scale of issues. 

As time pass more people will be arrested and linked to these events and parties, it is typical of people to distance themselves from crimes and illegal issues when one party is under fire for his misconduct and bad behavior. However when the empire begins to crack that means the crumbling will follow suit. The previous president Donald Trump was also linked to these parties and events with Epstein as well as P. Diddy, as everyone may know he is currently facing his own legal issues and battles with various states. In his attempt to avert his cases he continues to run for president and state that everything that is happening is all fake and made up. When in the reality of it they are all true. Watching America actually going through a period where things may be shaping a different narrative for those who are next in line to redirect the narrative of things can be exciting.
