ROWE VS WADE WOMEN RIGHTS
Life seems to change so much during the time span that we are given to live and reside on this planet. There is so much that evolves; evolving for some means going backwards. While everywhere else in the world seem to be updating and changing, the united states always seems to go back in time (Sweet thoughts of Nostalgia). So much has not change within this country and within the democracy of this country. The things that were fought for as far as rights of women to terminate a pregnancy with Roe V. Wade. This right has been revisited within the supreme court and over turned. The abortion laws and the legality of abortions was subjected to state laws in 1973 with the Roe V. Wade case that was fought and won. The year 1992 it became federally legal to have an abortion: Planned ParentHood vs. Casey fought so that they could not put anything in the way of stopping a woman from terminating her pregnancy due to privacy and freedom. Within this year, 2022 both Rowe and Casey was overturned by Dobbs V Jackson's woman Health Organization. Now abortions Illegal in certain states and you can go to jail if you are caught and convicted in other states it is subjected to regulations based on the states and their laws once again.
The laws that were passed made abortion illegal in certain states during the first and second trimester which was the purpose of Roe V. Wade.
There are many speculations going around as to why this decision was made and how it affects the women within this country. Those speculations are not the priority for the women who are fighting for their rights today. A choice to choose what to do with your body is a woman's choice and should always be a woman's choice because it is her body. Her body does not belong to anyone else but her.
There are states that abortions are still legal, states such as New York City. That Big Apple that many love to hate because of the noise and the loud traffic. Other States that abortion is still legal is Washington, Virginia, Vermont, South Carolina, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Oregon, North Dakota, North Carolina, New Mexico, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Nevada, Nebraska, Mississippi, Montana, Minnesota, Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Louisiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Hawaii, Georgia, Florida, Delaware, Connecticut, California, Arizona, and Alaska, All of these states have their own guide lines as to how far along you can be within your pregnancy for termination. Contact any of these states to find out their guidelines and Rules to pregnancy and their terms of abortion if you need to have a procedure done.
Utah is under a temporary allowance of Abortions currently.
If convicted in any of the states that are not listed above depending on the state you can be sentenced to 10 - 14 years in prison and charged with homicide for the termination of your pregnancy. You can also be fined up 100,000 dollars if caught and convicted. Now is the time to practice safety or celibacy when it comes to having sexual intercourse with a counterpart if you were not doing that previously.
The rights for abortion was fought under the 14th amendment for women to have the right to terminate pregnancies. The section of the fourteenth Amendment which was created in in 1789 and revised in 1992 states: No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." The courts no longer see abortions as a human right. In the state of Florida the youngest baby that was born within the united states that survived was 21 weeks; the courts now consider this a homicide if you were 21 weeks and choose to terminate your pregnancy. That means you could face jail time and even a fine. The courts should have no right on what goes on within someone's body and what they do with their bodies but many argue that abortions are illegal and that it is a crime to kill a child; it is taking the life of another human being when a pregnancy is terminated. There are people fighting on apposing sides of this and they have been for years. Yet the choice of what a woman does with her body belongs to her in the end.

Does freedom only ring, when the Government wants it to ring? The people of this land has voted their democracy into law; they are there to help the regulation of what takes place within the country. However they are not showing themselves to be there to help the freedom of the people of the land. They are there to put things into place to prohibit them from their freedom, or is there no true freedom within this land? The citizens are getting tired of fighting for their rights to liberty. They have not given up though, because many have taken to the streets to protest and to let their voice be heard as they march on until victor is won.
THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was written in August 1982 by the Socialist Minister Francis Bellamy. The pledge was away to salute not just America but any country that would want to use these words to represent the freedom and their love for their Countries. America however took the pledge and make it their own affirmation. After all this is the Suppose to be the Home of the Free and the Land of the Brave.
It was later revised in 1923 and words were changed to: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
The pledge has been a big issue for the united states and what they stand for. The people of the land has been given a hard time for kneeling during the pledge. (Collin Kapernick) He was basically thrown out of the NFL because he kneeled during the pledge and it was considered an insult. Donald Trump made a big deal about this issue. Now here we are fast forward into the future, wondering how much does these words really mean and what do they actually stand for? Because the people on the land are still fighting for that one nation that is promise, with the Liberty and Justice that comes with it!
"The United States of America has always been the land of the free" Now that many of the citizens rights are being threatened and things continue to change for the land and those residing on the land how much will citizens be able to take, and what will the fight look like moving forward?
