MONEY IN POLITICS & VOTERS

How does money from big donors in politics affect the politicians that you vote for? There are many ways that this can affect the politicians that you vote for one of those ways are what they do in office when they are voted in. Depending on who is funding the campaign of the politicians that you vote for their agenda when in office might not be in the favor of the people who voted for them. When a campaign has received a larger donation or funding from a large corporation there are certain conversations that is had about how they can support or assist the companies that fund them. It is up to the individual who is running for a political seat to stand within a moral stand point and do the right thing for the people who has cast their votes to put them in the seat that they occupy.

Anyone can donate to a campaign ran by a political figure that they want to win or occupy a seat within the political party. You can donate and become a member of their team through means of volunteering to assist within raising funds and brining awareness to the political party you may want to win the election. However if you do nothing and still want change that is not possible, if you really want your voices to be heard  you have to take an active roll within the campaigns of the political party you are routing for. Vote is a huge party of any party winning an election, but without each person actively involving themselves in the game of politics; you can not complain when you are not seeing the changes you are looking for.

In 2002 there was a ruling of 6-3 that put a limit of $250,000 dollars, on campaigns for money politicians raised after the campaign has ended. That means they can only pay themselves back that amount from their time on the campaign trail. Ted Cruz had an issue with this and he is fighting to get this changed, he alleges that he has put over 500,000 of his own money into his campaign and has not received the funds back. So he is fighting for this law to change. Some state that it violates there First Amendment Rights!

Jared Moskowitz a Broward County Commissioner who is currently running for congress has secured $665,000 Dollars for his campaign within 27 days. Some of the People who has taken an interest within this candidate is Lauren Book who is a Senate Democratic Leader. She has given the maximum that could be given. Ron Book he is a lobbyist and he is very influential Another influencer is John Morgan he also gave the maximum he can give. He is a lobbyist and the founder of Morgan & Morgan injury Law Firm. Senator Janet Cruz also donated to his campaign. These are people that are invested within his campaign in order to see him win.

The game of politics is not for the weak nor is it for people who want to sit down and complain about change and they do not put any action towards the change that they want to see. As a Life Coach and Counselor, I have always said the same thing and I will always continue to say the same thing. Nothing changes until you decided to change. There are so many things you can sit down and complain about within life; if you do not take the necessary steps and do the work you will not see any change or action of change. Most people will complain about what they do not want and do not take the action to work on the things that they do want.

How many campaigns have you worked on or with? How many donations have you given with the political party. How many phone calls have you made for your parties political campaign. How many people do you have conversations with about who is running for a political chair to represent you? Take the time out and do the work.
