VH1's Love and Hip Hop Miami Premier!

There is always a time and a place for everything. Tonight definitely was the time and place for Love and Hip Hop Miami. Everyone has been wondering when it was coming; no one was clear or sure when it would come but most were waiting and anticipating. Mona Scott-Young has been bringing everyone drama and excitement in different season since 2011. Mona has been making her mark on the hip hop scene with Love and Hip Hop underground artists that wants to make their presence known in the hip hop world. There were some hitters and major players who have made appearances on the show but for the most part everyone who wants to make a come back or a come up, has played a role on Love and Hip Hop.


As each person entered Studio 23 tonight awaiting the primer of the season you can say they were sure to wear some of their best outfits. Walking the red carpet getting prepared to see how their character looks on the big screen. In the mist of all the commotion they did stop for pictures of course and a small Q and A session before the premier touched the screen. There were a few old faces from previous Love and Hip Hop seasons like Atlanta and New York, e.g Juju and Carly Red and Tommy; faces that you are already use to seeing or may have seen before; nonetheless we know that cast members on Love and Hip Hop have been known to be seen in different seasons and past episodes. Most are connected in different ways.


The cast was definitely active and live during their photo session before the premier. They posed for pics and kept the smiles coming. The club was filled with numerous people all over ready to see what's to come on  Miami's season. They were all excited to finally unveil the events that's to come on the show. Trina showed up looking fabulous as usual, Trick Daddy was present in his Hip Hop attire it is only right because its Love and Hip Hop. Shay Johnson and her current boyfriend Marcus AKA Pleasure P from the former R&B group Pretty Ricky, who brought one or two of the group members with them. We definitely can not forget the rest of the cast were there as well. Gun Play, Veronica Vega, Prince, Amara La Negra, and Bobby Lytes. Of course there wouldn't be anything to see without Mona herself who looked fabulous in her yellow and white that she wore. Dawn, who is no stranger to the show flashed her beautiful smile briefly on the carpet along with everyone else's smiles which were non stop. The essence of the moment needed to be captured and what other way to capture everything except with the cameras. 

After their encounter with the red carpet it was time to take their seats The laughs still continued through the premier. They all were in good vibes among each other. The crowd had their moments of cheer, laughter and shock. They kept the premier live with their energy, very up beat and nothing but love in the building. The excitment that the cast exhibited made the crowd more vibrant with the same energy. Everyone started yelling and shouting when the drama started. The same energy kept the room in suspense the entire time. N.O.R.E was in the building showing his support for the cast members during the show. He stood quietly with his guest as he watched everything unfold on the big screen.

Everyone knows VH1 Love and Hip Hop is not Love and Hip Hop without the drama and from what was shown in that priemier you will not miss a beat on the that end. There was already family conflict between Trina and her cousin "Bobby lytes". Clearly Trina does not like his over the top personality and the fact that he brings drama everywhere he goes but that's family. You can't choose who you are related to, you can only choose who you associate with. So I can not blame her for not wanting a bad rap on her name; after all she is the Diamond Princess. On the series Bobby and Trina's stylist does not get along with one another. There is tencion that has been brewing between the two because of Bobby's behavior and the manner in which he speaks to him but Bobby feels because blood is thicker than water that he should not have to ask for respect.  Trina also touched on her new album that is in the works with Trick Daddy, the return of the dynamic duo. They want to bring back the vibe of Miami that everyone knows, not wanting people to forget the essence of Miami. 

The cast already has a lot going with each other and drama just does not seem to be too far on the horizon, with Amara La Negra taking her mom with her on a business meeting to meet producer Hollywood; their spat about her looks and what she needs to change about her image. It looks like there will be a noholds bar for this season. When everyone has so much to say and work needs to be done on every end there is sure to be a lot of people bumping heads and drinks to be thrown along with blows that will be exchanged. When it comes to Love and Hip Hop their name preceded them. There will be love there in the mix of the music but you will get the drama that comes along with the artist and their fight to make get on top. 

There were more Q and A that was completed by the host after the preview of the show. At that point the drama started between the cast. Pleasure P comment on Prince attire, displeased with the entire outfit, Pleasure P said that Prince looks like a "bunny".  Words were exchange between the cast members after the comment; other members of pretty rick had a few things to say about Prince, quick come back that he spat out  " dont let this pink outfit fool you, you will get fucked up". It then became a two on one situation and of course the production crew had to calm everyone down. There were apologizes given by Prince after the confrontation. Trina was asked why did she change her mind on doing reality T.V after stating in a previous interview she did not want to do it! Two year when the opportunity was presented to her. "Trina: it all made sense after I thought about it and put things into perspective, with my new album coming out, me touring and so many things happening. I thought it was a good time for me to do reality television."
