"During an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Dash gave her two cents on why voting for Obama and Obamacare has not benefited minority communities.
“No [it hasn't benefited minorities]. Not at all,” said the “Clueless” actress turned political commentator. “It still keeps them stuck. They’re getting money for free. They feel worthless. They’re uneducated. I mean, as long as you are that way, [Democrats] can keep you under their control…”
“They have a plantation mentality. As long as they give you this much money, you’ll stay right there. You don’t need to know too much because if you do, you might start thinking for yourself.”
That is crazy. She is a black woman to America and will always be a black woman to America. "What she feels makes no difference". She is stating that:"blacks are uneducated and are kept behind". When speaking about people you know nothing about you have to speak and be selective. Everyone feels a certain way about different parts of the black community but you cannot classify everyone who is black. That is digging a hole for yourself. I am not uneducated nor do I have a plantation mentality. I love when someone like her tries to open her mouth and speak and has never really lived their lives within a true struggling black community. Only speak on what you know, it will save you more time and energy. We get that you do not like Obama that is fine; you and many others do not. Just build a bridge and get over it already he was there for two terms. Bush did nothing but ruin the economy when he was in presidency i do not hear anyone speaking on that. Yet everyone is attacking Obama for trying something. When going outside of the norm you will always be criticized and scrutinized. I am not saying that he is perfect nor am i saying that he doesn't make mistakes, but what i am saying is that he tried and it may not have worked where everyone benefited but give recognition to a man that does and that is all.
Everyone sees things from their perspective and even though i am not the biggest Obama fan i try to refrain from speaking on what he has done for any community whether it is black or white, rich or poor. This is an issue for a nation not just a single person, which speaks for the "minority group in this case". The majority when it comes to this debate i believe will side with the president. As for me i fit neither category so you do not have to wonder where I stand.
